Agape Feast & Youth Hot Dog Lunch Fundraiser on June 11

On June 11, we will only have one service at 10:45 a.m. and there will be no children’s programs so that families can attend the worship service together.  Our Youth will be cooking and serving us hot dogs after the worship service.  Please consider bringing a side dish or/and dessert to share. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer to let us know how many in your family will be here and what delicious food you plan to bring to share. Make plans to stay after church on June 11, eat some good food, and help support the CCD Youth. If wish to make a donation to our Youth to help offset the cost of attending this year’s conference, please memo gifts “Youth.” If you have any questions, please see Debaree Pereira or Pastor Anthony.

Daughters of the King Women’s Ministry Summer Book Club

We are excited to announce the book for our DOK 2023 Summer Book Club! Starting June 1, we will begin reading “Why Do I Do What I Don’t Want to Do?” By Jonathan “JP” Pokluda. This book will teach us how to overcome the habits that are stealing joy from our lives and will explain, unpack, and expand on the virtues we're told to pursue in Scripture: humility, forgiveness, sobriety, generosity, diligence, self-control, authenticity, rest, optimism, and gratitude. Far from being restrictive, these God-given goals for living will free us to love and live as God intends. Get a copy of this book and read along with us this summer. At the end of the summer, we will have a Women's Gathering to fellowship and discuss the book. The date will be announced soon. You can purchase the book at Amazon or Barnes & Noble. If you need help ordering a copy, please call or email the church office. Also, see the Remind information below & sign-up to get the most up-to-date information about what’s happening in our CCD Women’s Ministry.
